Meeting Afghan Families in Stirling

I was extremely humbled today to meet members of the recently resettled Afghan families here in Stirling. They had some heart-breaking stories to tell of survival, but I’m proud to say they’ve been given a warm welcome from the community, with help from Forth Valley Welcome and Stirling Council. Many unanswered questions for the UK Government, not least about family reunions. With Westminster returning next week, I’ll be working with parliamentary colleagues to seek further answers and clarification.
