Video from Alyn Smith MP, Stirling Constituency

Cuts to Universal Credit

The Tories are pushing ahead with their cut to Universal Credit, despite overwhelming evidence of the poverty, pain and misery it will inflict on households across Scotland and Stirling. Myself and SNP colleagues will be at our posts to vote against this economically and morally bankrupt policy, but ultimately it is only independence that will see Scotland get the governments we vote for and policies that work for the people of Scotland, instead of even more Tory-driven austerity.
