The UK Government is misrepresenting the views of farmers, who are concerned about what they are set to lose in coming out of the EU – and what future UK trade deals could mean for our farming industry.
This week, I raised rough sleeping in Parliament. A lot has been achieved through cross-party working on this issue, but there’s a lot more to be done to help those who are rough sleeping, or who are in danger of becoming rough sleepers.

Today I joined calls for a proper, judge-led inquiry into the Post Office/Horizon scandal. Postmasters have been wrongly accused through this system of fiddling the books. Some were jailed, others have sadly taken their own lives. The review announced by the government today does not go far enough.

Yesterday I asked the UK Health Secretary if the UK government’s payments to families of care home workers who sadly lose their lives to Covid-19 would have an impact on any negligence claims. I await his answer.
