The UK Government must take action on global malnourishment

I deeply regret the UK Government’s decision to walk away from their previous 0.7% commitment to international aid. Malnutrition, combined with the global pandemic, will devastate vulnerable communities internationally.
At the recent SNP conference we pledged that Scotland, when an independent state, would commit to the 0.7% GNI commitment on overseas aid. That will be the cornerstone of our development policy; we believe it is a mark of global decency.
