Question to the Foreign Secretary: International Development

We on the SNP benches were concerned that the merger of the Department for International Development and the Foreign Office would dilute the work done overseas. We are more concerned at the mixed reports coming out of Whitehall around cutting the 0.7% of UK income going to international development. This was a manifesto commitment from the Tories, and should any such cut fall, it would surely be a resignation matter for the Foreign Secretary.
