Local MP and MSP Visit First Biannual Exhibition Hosted by Stirling Gallery

Stirling shop and gallery, Made In Stirling, is hosting an exhibition showcasing the work of local creatives. SPRING EDITIONS brings together pieces from ten local artists who are all part of the Made In Stirling collective. The themes of the work include looking to a hopeful future, and taking inspiration from Scotland’s landscape

Made In Stirling CIC is the trading arm for the charity, Creative Stirling. All profits support the work of the charity, creating new opportunities for the central region of Scotland’s cultural sector and creative workforce and sustaining Made in Stirling’s creative community venue.

With a strong belief in using technology to make art more accessible, Made In Stirling will also be sharing profiles and interviews with the artists participating in the exhibition online.

Alyn Smith MP said:

‘Made in Stirling have a crucial role to play in the future of Stirling’s city centre. Consumer habits are shifting toward experiential offerings, and unique, interesting places like the store on King Street help to enhance our local sense of identity and place. The EDITIONS collection is a further feather in their cap, and I’d strongly urge local residents and visitors alike to pop in to see it for themselves. I’m extremely grateful to the Made in Stirling team for all they do for our community, and hope 2023 is another impressive year of achievement and development.’

Paul Jenkins, Director of Made in Stirling, said:

‘Made In Stirling’s mission is to empower the community of Artists and makers across Central Scotland by providing access to, and the opportunity for, creative enterprise, peer knowledge exchange, sector specific business support, and education.

‘Our values lie in the reinvigoration of our local high street, and retail economy, through access to arts and culture. Supporting the creative community, by upholding a sustainable creative enterprise business model. Together, building an innovative ecosystem for creators, consumers, educators and our local communities.’
