Local Residents and Businesses Encouraged to Nominate
Stirling MP Alyn Smith has launched a new scheme, aimed at supporting local businesses and recognising those who have gone the extra mile.
As businesses have struggled with tough economic conditions, Stirling residents are being encouraged to support their local outlets ahead of the festive season, and help showcase the broad range of talent by nominating their favourite firm.
Stirling shoppers can nominate any Stirling-based businesses as one of ‘Alyn’s Local Heroes’ here.
Encouraging Stirling residents and consumers to buy local, Mr Smith said:
‘Businesses across Stirling and Scotland have dealt with a really challenging set of circumstances over the past few years – first a global pandemic, and now a cost of living crisis which continues to increase costs and suppress spending.
‘’Alyn’s Local Heroes’ is all about supporting the fantastic businesses we have all over Stirling, encouraging residents to shop locally ahead of the festive season, and celebrating the great talent we have across the multiple award-winning sectors of Stirling’s diverse economy.
‘Anyone wishing to nominate a Stirling business for an ‘Alyn’s Local Heroes’ award can do so on the link here.‘
