Cup Final Set Against Tower Hearts AFC

Local politicians have congratulated Fallin AFC for ongoing football success, as the team are set to face-off against Tower Hearts AFC in the Kappa & Only Sport Scottish Amateur Cup Final at Hampden Park, on Tuesday 24th May 2022.

Retaining the East of Scotland Amateur Cup in a recent match against Tollcross Thistle AFC at The Falkirk Stadium, Fallin AFC has continued to make its mark on Scotland’s football scene and bring together the local community.

In a joint-letter to the club, Stirling MP Alyn Smith, MSP Evelyn Tweed and recently elected Bannockburn Ward Councillor Brian Hambly congratulated the team on their remarkable win, and wished them the best of luck in the Cup Final.

Local Bannockburn Ward Councillor Brian Hambly said:

‘Fallin has a fantastic community spirit, and I see that reflected in their local football club. Fallin AFC have given it their all, and to play the Cup Final at Hampden is simply phenomenal. I wish them luck, and hope they know Bannockburn and the Eastern Villages are behind them!’

Evelyn Tweed MSP said:

‘It really is great to see amateur football moving from strength to strength in Stirling, especially after continued disruption from the pandemic. Fallin AFC have done tremendously well to be playing a final at our national stadium. I’m sure they’ll give it their all and can add another trophy to the shelf.’

Alyn Smith MP said:

‘I’m glad to see Fallin rallying around their local team, as they approach national glory. The village can be proud of their achievements and community spirit; on the recent campaign trail I was heartened to see local improvement works and projects making a real difference. Here’s to Fallin AFC, the coaches and the players – and to a win at Hampden.’
