Smith Urges Residents To Support Local Barbers and Hairdressers

Stirling MP Alyn Smith has had his first haircut since the country went into lockdown back in March.

Hairdressers and barbers were able to resume business on July 15th, with a range of special measures in place, including the use of face coverings and other PPE.

Mr Smith visited Kaaz Barber Shop, Friar Street, on Friday. Commenting, he said:

“It was a relief to finally get a haircut after four months of lockdown. Many thanks to Kaaz and the team for their excellent service. It’s a barber shop that really demonstrates the international diversity of the Stirling area, with highly professional barbers from Turkey, Hungary, Italy, and Sicily.

“Not something I was brave enough to try myself, but a few people posted pictures on social media over the past few months of DIY haircuts from home. I would urge everyone now to get in touch with their barbers and hairdressers, make an appointment, and support these great local businesses.”
