Alyn Smith MP for Stirling has praised local business, Amy Britton, Handmade Harris Tweed Products, ahead of the Scotland Trade Fair (Sunday 19 Jan – Tuesday 21 Jan) in Glasgow’s SEC Centre.

Mr Smith visited the studio workshop last week to see the latest line of products, including glasses cases and make up bags.

Commenting, he said:
“This is a fantastic business, and is a shining example of the types of things that are being achieved in this area. Amy is driven by her passion for Scottish handmade products, and I am delighted to learn that the company is selling to the USA.

“I wish her and the team all the best over the Trade Fair, I’m absolutely certain that her business will generate a lot of interest there.”
